Rowing accross the Atlantic
December 12th 2026

~ 5'000 kilometers across the Atlantic. Without support. Alone.
From La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean. In between: an ocean.

The Paddler
Welcome!
My name is Roger, and in December 2026, I will cross the Atlantic in a rowing boat. A journey of almost 5'000 kilometers, against wind, weather, and waves.
With this project, I not only want to overcome obstacles, but also raise awareness for the Swiss Sports Aid.
Learn more about who I am, why I'm taking on this challenge, and how you can support this project.
For a good cause
From athletes for athletes – this project is dedicated to Swiss Sports Aid and PluSport.
My solo Atlantic crossing aims to promote young athletes in Switzerland and support them on their way to achieving top sporting performances. The challenge serves as a platform to make a sustainable and concrete contribution to the Swiss sporting landscape.
All proceeds will go entirely to Swiss Sports Aid and PluSport.
A fundraising campaign will also take place during the crossing to further strengthen this support.
